On February 25, 2026, a landslide occurred on National Route 158 in the Shioya district of Nyukawa-cho, Takayama City, resulting in traffic restrictions in some sections.
From Takayama city center towards the Okuhida Onsenkyo area,You can come as usual by taking the detour (Takayama City Road).Both regular cars and route buses can use the detour route.
All hot spring resorts in the Okuhida Onsenkyo area (Hirayu, Fukuchi, Shin-Hirayu, Tochio, and Shin-Hotaka), the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway, and the Abotoge Road (towards Matsumoto) are available for use as usual.
