Fresh greenery, autumn leaves, snowy scenery - the driving route to Okuhida Onsenkyo, which shows off beautiful faces in every season, is a fascinating road where you can enjoy the majestic scenery of the Northern Alps from the car window.
However, there are many mountain roads in mountainous areas, and in winter there is a lot of snowfall. In addition, there may be restrictions on private cars in the direction of Kamikochi and Mount Norikura. If you are coming by car, be sure to check traffic information and road conditions in advance. Please drive safely and comfortably to Okuhida Onsenkyo.

If you are coming by train or bus
Okuhida Onsenkyo can be easily accessed from various locations by combining trains and buses.
From Nagoya and Osaka, take the JR Takayama Main Line's limited express "Hida," from Tokyo and Shinjuku, take the JR Chuo Main Line's limited express "Azusa," and from Nagoya, take the limited express "Shinano." From each station, transfer to a local bus to head to Oku-Hida Onsenkyo.
We also recommend taking the affordable highway bus from Osaka, Nagoya, or Tokyo, or the limited express bus from Toyama. Enjoy a relaxing journey while admiring the scenery outside the train window.
