Oku-Hida Onsenkyo is located in the mountains at an altitude of 800m to 1,300m, surrounded by the pure water and clean air of the Northern Alps. This rich natural environment has nurtured a unique food culture that is unique to Oku-Hida. Seasonal ingredients such as Hida beef, river fish, wild vegetables, and highland vegetables are available throughout the year, and you can also enjoy traditional flavors such as soba noodles, hoba miso paste, and local sake. Enjoy unique dining experiences such as hot spring eggs and dishes made with local ingredients.

AWAWA HIRAYU

AWAWA HIRAYU is located in Hirayu, the gateway to the Northern Alps.
Located where Shinshu and Hida meet, we offer pizza made from handmade dough baked in an oven at over 500 degrees, aromatic coffee, and locally produced gelato.
Enjoy a relaxing moment during your trip with a piece of bread topped with ingredients from Shinshu and Hida.
As an information center for the Shin-Fuji Trail, it also plays a role in supporting walking trips.
We will deliver a cup or a glass that will allow you to experience this land.

Ankiya Restaurant

It has two faces: a restaurant in the spring and a rest house in the winter.
Ankiya is a warm and welcoming restaurant located in a relocated old house. It is a completely self-service restaurant, offering a relaxing space for customers who are not dining in.

Alps Highway Hirayu

Alps Kaido Hirayu is a drive-in facility attached to Hirayu Bus Terminal. The first floor has a shop selling Hida region specialties and souvenirs, a restaurant, and a takeout corner selling Hida beef skewers and delicious freshly baked bread. The second floor has a large restaurant that can accommodate large groups.

CAFÉ MUSTACHE

A popular coffee shop located in the center of Hirayu Onsen. In addition to various types of coffee and parfaits, omelets and curries are also popular.

Sake Shop Rokuji

Located on the grounds of Hirayu Folk Museum, this bar specializes in snacks and dishes that go well with alcohol. Enjoy a seasonal menu in a charming old-fashioned house.

Mominoki Restaurant (inside Hirayu no Mori facility)

Hirayu no Mori is a restaurant nestled in the forest, surrounded by abundant nature, located just beyond the gassho-style bathhouse. It has a spacious tatami room with heated floors, as well as table and counter seating facing the forest. In addition to Hida beef dishes, there is a wide variety of delicious and reasonably priced a la carte dishes, including set meals, a la carte dishes, rice bowls, and snacks to go with alcohol.

Yoshimoto Restaurant

A long-established restaurant near Hirayu Bus Terminal, offering a wide variety of Hida beef dishes as well as soba and udon dishes.

Old-style Cafe Kihana Kihana

This traditional Japanese cafe is located in front of the Yadoriyu bathhouse in Fukuji Onsen. We offer a variety of menu items using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, as well as delicious coffee made with freshly ground coffee drip-brewed.

Sushi family Jirocho

This is a small sushi restaurant in the Okuhida Onsen area. We value the relaxed atmosphere and sushi that you can enjoy without pretense. Please drop in and make some memories of your trip.

Snack B&B

Karaoke bar located on the first floor of Sushi Ikka Jirocho (Sushi). Enjoy your time with popular sushi.

Snack Mako

This snack bar is located at the entrance to Shin Hirayu Onsen and is a popular hangout spot for locals.

Nagase Restaurant

This restaurant is frequented by locals. Its signature dishes, which have remained unchanged since it first opened, are soy sauce-flavored Chinese noodles and beef tetchan, a dish stewed with innards and cabbage. Both are addictively delicious.

Unatei

The unadon served with their secret sauce is exquisite. The eel rice ball, which is delicious even when cold, is also popular.

Dining Cafe Yotsuba

The stylish interior makes use of old wood. We recommend the galettes made with buckwheat flour from Okuhida and the Hida beef tendon curry. In the evening, it becomes a Western-style izakaya where you can enjoy drinks.

Weaving shop Tanagokoro

This restaurant is located almost in the center of Shin Hirayu Onsen. Enjoy freshly prepared dishes made with carefully selected ingredients along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with local sake.

Drinking and Dining Kenken

Lunch will be sold out once 20 servings are gone. There may be days when the restaurant is closed in the evening due to circumstances. The restaurant is closed in the evening on Fridays and Saturdays.

Tochio Onsen area

Ichisuke Restaurant

Roadside station Okuhida Onsenkyo Kamihonai. Popular for its river fish dishes and Okuhida ramen.

Tanuki Restaurant

This restaurant is located next to the roadside station Okuhida Onsenkyo Kamitakara. We recommend the chicken bowl with its fragrant miso aroma, which will whet your appetite, and the shamo chicken soba and udon noodles, which allow you to enjoy the delicious flavor of gamecock. We also recommend grilled Hida beef skewers.

Shinhotaka Onsen area

Nakazaki Sanso Okuhida no Yu

Located near the first station of the Shinhotaka Ropeway, this facility offers both day-trip bathing and dining.
There is also a rest area where you can relax after a bath or meal. You can also use it while waiting for the bus.

Cafe/Light Meals Kasagatake

A coffee shop located on the first floor of Shinhotaka Onsen Station.
Soft drinks and light meals are also available.
Please use this space for meeting up.

Bakery in the Alps

This bakery shop is located on the second floor of Shirakabadaira Station. They offer a wide variety of original breads, including the most popular croissants, as well as gondola bread and magnolia leaf miso bread. Enjoy your meal while admiring the magnificent view from the view lounge.

CAFÉ GOKAN

This relaxing cafe features furniture made from wood harvested in the mountaintop area and local materials. Come experience the delicious food made with local ingredients and the great outdoors of Shinhotaka with all your senses.

Uchino Liquor Store Nonkimura

This restaurant is attached to Uchino Liquor Store. In addition to light meals such as Hida Chinese noodles and fried rice, we also recommend oshiruko (sweet red bean soup) and soft serve ice cream.

Higashinoyu and Climbers' Restaurant

This restaurant is attached to the day-trip bathing facility. The spacious restaurant offers over 80 different dishes, all of which are hearty. Be sure to stop by on your way back from hiking.
We can also accommodate meals for inbound tour groups.
