Takahara Sansho is a variety that grows only in the Okuhida Onsenkyo hot spring resort. Its distinctive feature is its excellent balance of aroma, spiciness, and numbness. Its elegant and rich citrus aroma is particularly strong than other varieties, and it refreshes your senses as it flows from your mouth to your nose. It is carefully harvested by hand and made using traditional methods such as drying in the shade and sun. There are a variety of products available, including processed products such as powdered sansho, sansho shichimi, dried sansho, and sansho miso. It makes a great souvenir.
