Fukuchi Onsen "Raifuku no Mori" / Forest Café - A place to relax in the forest
In Hida, welcoming visitors from afar is called "Raifi." "Raifuku no Mori" (Forest of Fortune) was named by combining the sentiment of "Thank you for coming" with the "Fuku" (fortune) of Fukuchi Onsen (hot spring). This forest was once farmland, but after about 50 years, it has returned to nature. At "Forest Café," you can take a nap in a hammock, read a book, or savor Kuromoji coffee. Enjoy the luxury of doing nothing. There is even a couple who met in this forest and decided to get married. As the name suggests, it is a forest where small moments of "fortune" visit from time to time.
