Northern Alps Bridge
The Northern Alps Bridge connects Nakao Plateau in Shinhotaka Onsen and Nabedaira Plateau. With a total length of 150m and a height of 70m from the valley floor, it is a spectacular spot offering a close-up view of the majestic mountains of the Northern Alps. Visitors are captivated by the refreshing feeling of walking in the sky, as well as the natural beauty of the four seasons. During the autumn foliage season in mid-October, the contrast between the colorful mountains and the clear blue sky is breathtaking. It is also a popular driving and touring route, with many visitors taking commemorative photos with their beloved cars. Nearby, you can also find the Shinhotaka Ropeway and Nabedaira Park, allowing you to fully enjoy the great outdoors of Oku-Hida.
