Shinhotaka Hot Springs
Shinhotaka no Yu is a day-trip bathing facility in Shinhotaka Onsen. While the changing rooms are separate for men and women, it is the only mixed-gender open-air bath among day-trip bathing facilities. This bathing spot offers a sense of openness, with a view of the clear waters of the Gamata River and the dynamic beauty of the valley to the side. During the season of fresh greenery, the bathing spot is lit up, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while bathing, both day and night. As you slowly soak in the warmth of the hot spring water, your soul will be bathed in the gentle colors of the four seasons. The facility is closed in winter.

| Bath Information | This is a simple hot spring with one mixed-gender open-air bath. When bathing, you are required to wear either a swimsuit or a "bathing suit". Bathing suits are available for purchase at "Higaku no Yu" or "Nakazaki Sanso Okuhida no Yu" for 350 yen. Please note that swimsuits are not available for rent or purchase, so please bring your own. |
