Shinhotaka Hot Springs
Shinhotaka no Yu is a day-trip bathing facility in Shinhotaka Onsen. While the changing rooms are separate for men and women, it is the only mixed-gender open-air bath among day-trip bathing facilities. This bathing spot offers a sense of openness, with a view of the clear waters of the Gamata River and the dynamic beauty of the valley to the side. During the season of fresh greenery, the bathing spot is lit up, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while bathing, both day and night. As you slowly soak in the warmth of the hot spring water, your soul will be bathed in the gentle colors of the four seasons. The facility is closed in winter.

| Bath Information | Simple hot spring, mixed-gender open-air bath 1. Please wear a swimsuit when bathing. Swimsuits can be rented or purchased at the Okuhida Training Center Pool. Simple bathing suits are sold at Higaku-no-Yu or Nakazaki Sanso for 350 yen. (2025 season only) |
