August 2026 Okuhida Visitor Center Event
The Okuhida Visitor Center is hosting events such as the "Hirayu Geo-Tour" and a "Bengara Dyeing Handmade Experience"!
Why not spend some time listening to the geological stories of the forests of Hirayu Onsen in Okuhida, located at an altitude of approximately 1,300m, together with a geoguide, and satisfying your intellectual curiosity while enjoying the pleasant coolness?
Hirayu Geo-Tour: Held on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in August, from 9:30 to 11:30 and from 13:30 to 15:30.
Bengara dyeing workshop: August 15th (Sat), August 16th (Sun), September 20th (Sun), September 21st (Mon) 10:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00
