Please take a look at this educational video on driving on snowy roads produced by Takayama Police Station of Gifu Prefectural Police and Takayama National Highway Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area is at a high altitude, and the roads are covered in snow and ice in the winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use studless tires and chains, and maintain a sufficient distance between vehicles.
Please be sure to drive in a manner appropriate for snowy roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
