Discover the wonders of Okuhida from the newly renovated Okuhida Visitor Center, opening its doors on Saturday, July 13th.

The Okuhida Visitor Center, a hub for exploring the natural beauty, tourism, and culture of Chubu Sangaku National Park, including iconic peaks like Mount Norikura and Mount Hotaka, the scenic Goshikigahara Plateau, Hirayu Otaki Waterfall, and Okuhida Onsen, will reopen on Saturday, July 13th after a major renovation.

Offering a variety of nature-based activities such as wildlife observation, forest bathing, and nature crafts, the center provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with the natural world.

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Closed: Wednesdays (except the following day if Wednesday is a holiday)
  • Admission: Free
  • Please note: Due to an opening ceremony on July 13th, general admission will begin after the ceremony.
